About Us

After the independence of Pakistan in 1947, most insurance companies operating in the subcontinent shifted their operations to India or other foreign countries, leaving a significant gap in Pakistan’s insurance sector. During that period, insurance coverage for key agricultural commodities such as cotton and jute, the backbone of Pakistan’s economy was not available.

To address this urgent national need, The Cooperative Insurance Society of Pakistan Limited was established under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1925, with the vision to provide reliable and affordable insurance protection to individuals, farmers, and enterprises across the country.

Since its inception, the Society has been committed to promoting the spirit of cooperation, financial security, and mutual benefit among its members. We take pride in serving the people of Pakistan with integrity, transparency, and a focus on long-term value creation.
